Guess who else the US has tried to arm and train over time? The Contra Rebels in the 70's responsible for over 1300 terror attack in Nicaragua. Sadam Hussein's bathists in the 80's who eventually became linked to Al Qeada and bin Laden. The Afghan Mujahiddeen in the 90s who eventually became the Taliban.
So...the plan now is to keep supplying weapons to the Kurds? The supposedly moderate group? Dont worry though, just ignore other major countries like Turkey who's PRESIDENT just denounced our support of the organization as a new potential terrorist organization. Oh and don't forget that a World Health Organization report in 2014 found that female genital mutilation in Iraqi Kurdistan is the highest in the ENTIRE WORLD with 72% of females undergoing some form. Just believe what the TV tells you that if we don't arm a rebel group that we will be at the mercy of terror attacks.
Terrorism is defined as militant attacks performed to insight fear and terror into a populous. Wake up guys it's working. If you live in fear you let these terrorists win. Guess what, no military force will ever come onto the mainland shores of the United States, its not going to happen. So why do we need to act irrationally? Why do we need to attack people with contempt and awful speech who's plight we dont even understand?
Our grandparents generation made mistakes during the world wars like the Japanese internment camps....dont let fear motivate you to make the same mistakes, Don't trust everything the media tells you. When you listen to debates question the logic when candidates tell you their military plans...or made hateful comments towards other people whom you may not understand.
